Hi, I'm Ben. I am a naturalist, field guide, wildlife photographer, and software engineer based in Santa Fe, NM.
After years traveling the world and teaching people about natural history (specializing in ornithology, ecology, and botany) with National Geographic and Lindblad Expeditions, I started Santa Fe Nature Guiding. My goal is to bring visitors and residents of Santa Fe into nature and to inspire & amaze them with the natural history of Northern New Mexico.
I also keep myself busy as a software engineer at Electric hydrogen.
in my free time I love to trail run, ski, backpack, hike, and take photos.
